Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, despite seeming like renovations were started but never finished, were large, clean, and offered an amazing view of San Marco square, making them delightful and adequate for a couple and their luggage. However, the service was a bit inconsistent, with some helpful staff but also encounters like inappropriate questions during check-in. The location, right in the heart of San Marco square, was fantastic for sightseeing but came with some noise disturbances due to the crowded streets. The dining options were limited, falling short of expectations set by the website descriptions.
The hotel's location was great, just steps away from St Mark's Square and easily accessible from the airport, though our room was separate from the main hotel, which was a bit odd. The service we received was mixed, with some staff being helpful and others not showing much interest. The dining experience lacked clear signage for the restaurant and was just average. The rooms, located in an annex without a lift, had a strange smell, and the view didn't match the online pictures.
The hotel room is ideally situated right on the main square, which was a plus for easy access; however, I wish I had known about this in advance. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no WiFi during my stay, which was disappointing. Another coffee machine could have prevented a backup in the corridor.
My stay at this hotel was quite the mixed bag. Despite the tiny and old rooms with poor facilities and a bad location on the silent side, they surprisingly had enough space for my companion and me. The service ranged from amazing helpfulness to grumpiness and unhelpfulness, even witnessing arguments with other guests. On the bright side, the location is exceptional, literally just 2 minutes from San Marco, ideal for those seeking the heart of the action. The dining experience, although offering tasty snacks, felt stressful due to over-efficient hostesses. However, the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel has a perfect location close to St Mark Cathedral and right next to the San Marco Square. The rooms are lovely, even though they can get cold due to the old infrastructure. The service is exceptional with kind staff who go the extra mile.
I was a bit disappointed with the room as it was much smaller than expected, but on the upside, it was incredibly clean. The location was excellent for exploring Venice's main attractions. The service was lackluster, with no smiles and unhelpful attitudes. The dining experience was average, with a nice continental breakfast served early. Overall, the hotel offers a great location but falls short on service and room accuracy.
The hotel may not be ideal as the rooms are very narrow, with a proper shower cabinet in the bathroom. Despite being a bit of a maze with many passages and steps, it wasn't as bright as shown in the pictures. Service was a mix of extremely kind and friendly, but some staff members were rude and unfriendly.
The hotel was okay and looked similar to the pictures, though it didn't include charges for local taxes. I was puzzled as to why I couldn't hear the air conditioner in the room. The service, however, was very attentive and polite. The location is perfect, just around the corner from the main square San Marco. The dining experience was pretty sad with minimal options. Facilities were basic.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were lovely, clean, and well-appointed, but the noise from nearby bars and restaurants could be bothersome despite efforts to block it out. The initial room I received was disappointing, but the staff managed to rectify it on my second attempt.
The hotel is located right in the heart of Venice, making it convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were a bit challenging with temperature and noise issues, but the service was top-notch. The dining experience left something to be desired, but the location was prime for sightseeing and enjoying the local offerings.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though a bit small, were cozy and comfortable. However, the location was a highlight being just a minute from San Marco square, but the lack of an elevator was inconvenient. The dining experience was disappointing, and the service left much to be desired.
The hotel's location is the only positive aspect I can highlight, as it is near St Marc's Square and offers excellent surroundings. However, the rooms were disappointing, being very small and not resembling the pictures online. The service was a mix of unfriendly staff, except for the morning bellboy and a friendly bartender. The dining experience was minimal, with subpar offerings. The breakfast was particularly disappointing, and the misrepresentation of the rooms was misleading.
